Here is a letter from M.S. from Riverside, California, a typical request for our autographed book plates. Received 1/09/03, sent out 1/10/03.

"Dear Peter,Enclosed is a $15.00 money order for a complete set of Autographed Book Plates. These are for my son, Paul, who has been an avid fan of yours from the beginning. He even said he was moving to Lake City, Colorado with his redbone coonhound, Buster, when he was in the 10th Grade in 1985/86 after reading one of your books.  I have him to thank for giving me your books to read. I just finished reading LOOKING FOR ALASKA. It is GREAT! My husband and I are planning a trip to Alaska this summer. Please sign the plates for Paul however you wish, as it will be one of his most cherished items. He is now 32, married for 3 years and has a little son who is 21 months old. He  loves our diverse country as you do. Please send them to his address in Green Valley, Arizona. Thank you for helping to fulfill a special request. Maralyn"
